State of the Suburbs - 2025
The State of the Suburbs report is a detailed summary of development applications, approvals, construction and recent completions in 133 Brisbane suburbs. There have been nearly 1,200 new residential developments in the past five years or so in Brisbane. These developments account for over 8,200 house lots, around 8,800 townhouses and 16,700 apartments or units.
At the present time, there are around 280 projects under construction with over 1,700 house lots, nearly 2,200 townhouses and around 6,800 apartments or units.
Going forward, there are over 650 new projects in the development pipeline accounting for over 3,600 house lots, around 2,100 townhouses and over 25,300 apartments of units as of early 2025.
